The OddsMonkey OddsMatcher is one of our members' most commonly used tools, so knowing how to use it properly is essential.
We have filters that are preset in the Offers Filter drop-down menu for signup offers. This means all you need to do is double-check the details when you launch the calculator.
As you move on to Reload Offers, you'll find that filtering the OddsMatcher helps you to complete offers quickly. You can even save filters for offers that you complete on a regular basis!
We have a video guide here that explains how to use the OddsMatcher in more detail. We'd recommend taking a look at that before reading this guide.
Where Are The Filters On The OddsMatcher?
You can find the filters along the top of the OddsMatcher.

What Do The Filters Mean?
Sports
Here you can tick and untick what sport(s) you're looking to bet on, if you just want horse racing selections to show, having just horse racing ticked would achieve this. Make sure you remember to click Apply after selecting a new filter.
Market Type
In different sports, there are different markets to bet on. The most commonly used will be the Win market in Horse Racing, and in Football, you're likely to use Match Odds (match winner), Correct Score and over/under X goals in the match. If a bet has to be placed on a specific market, then you can use this filter to ensure only these selections are shown on the OddsMatcher.
Bookmaker
This does what it says on the tin really. If you want results for a specific bookmaker, you can click clear all, search for the bookmaker, tick the box, press apply, and you'll see results for that bookie.
Exchange
This is the same as the bookmakers filter, if you only want results to show for particular exchange(s), then make sure that they're ticked. This might be because you know you have funds in a certain exchange account, or just a preference.
Rating
As matched bettors, we like to know the ratings of bets. If you're unsure what ratings are, take a look at this guide. There are 2 different rating filters on the OddsMatcher. The Min Rating is the minimum rating we want to take. This would usually be around 90-95% for a qualifying bet, and around 80% for a free bet. Max Rating is the maximum rating of a bet that we want to see. The max rating is set at 100 (you can manually adjust this), as anything over 100% is an arb and is bad for your account health, so steer clear of those where possible.
SnR
This is found within the Rating filter box, and is used when you have a free bet to use. After clicking this toggle, you will see the rating column change to show SNR Rating. For standard free bets, you'd usually want to target a 75-80% rating.
Min/Max Odds
These filters are pretty self-explanatory; sometimes offers will have minimum back odds, and occasionally maximum back odds too. By setting the Min Odds and/or Max Odds filters to fit in with the terms of an offer, you can be sure that you qualify for the offer that you're completing.
Availability
Availability is the amount that needs to be greater than our lay stake, this guide explains more about this. The larger your stake, the more liquidity you will need to be available at the exchange so that you don't end up with an unmatched or partially matched bet.
Competitions Drop Down Menu
If you want to search for a specific football league, you can click on the downward facing arrow and start typing in the search box, then you'll see competitions start to appear. If you select any options here, the OddsMatcher will just show results for those competitions/leagues.
Clear Filters
This will clear any filters that you have set on the OddsMatcher
Settings
After clicking settings, a window will display. From here you can change your exchange commission rates, ask the oddsmatcher to remember your filters, disable the timeframe bar (we'll come on to this next), show last update times and hide rows where the price has not been seen in over 3 hours.
Filter Timframe
Here we can select how far in advance we'd like to bet. If you wanted your bet to take place today, then you could tick the Today Only? box. Or narrow it down more, use the slider to select 30mins, 1hr, 2hrs, etc.
Betting on events that take place sooner rather than later is a good idea, as it means you aren't waiting for as long for your bets to settle. This may mean that you get your free bets faster, and it also means that you don't have your money tied up for as long.
Exclude Draws?
Some offers, such as bore draw or 2ups aren't relevant when the draw is bet on, so you can tick this box and exclude any draw results from showing on the OddsMatcher.
Search Events
This is really useful when you're looking for bets on specific events. If I were looking for a bet on the 17:00 Chelmsford race, I would just search 17:00, hit enter and then the results I see will be for that race.
Now you know what all of the filters are there for and do, you might want to save certain filters that you use regularly
Delete and Save Filters
If you are completing an offer regularly, you might want to create and save your own filter. To do this, set the filters you require, then click the green floppy disc symbol to save. You can then name your filter, and it will be shown in the Offers Filter drop down menu for you to select.
If you no longer need/use the filter, select it from the Offers Filter drop down menu, then click the red X to delete it, and confirm the deletion of this filter in the next pop up.
