Gameshow casino games often appear in our casino offers, so it's good to know what they are, and how they work.
They have been designed to imitate traditional gameshow games that you may have seen appear on TV. Casinos often have promotions on these types of games as they're interactive for the players, which in turn can lead to players taking part for longer, and spending more money.
Here are some Gameshow Games, their RTP and the recommended strategies:
Dreamcatcher
Here you'll see the host spinning a wheel that has numbers, all representing different multipliers.
Under the wheel, you will see 6 different options to bet on, 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 40.
How to play
- Join the game and set your stake amount by picking one of the chips
- When the timer shows, place your desired stake on one of the 6 different betting options (1, 2, 5, 10, 20 or 40)
- The host will now spin the wheel, if it lands on your number then you have won
- Continue to place your chips until you have completed the wagering requirement
Recommended Strategy and RTP
The highest RTP for this game is when betting on 10, however, it is high variance as there are only 4 number 10s on the spin wheel. Therefore we would recommend betting on number 1 or 2, as the RTP is still over 95%, and there are many more chances of landing on these numbers, in turn lowering the variance.
If you were completing an offer with a large wagering requirement on bonus funds, then number 10 would be a good option for this type of offer.
Adventures Beyond Wonderland
Again this is a spin wheel game, however, this differs from Crazy Time as it has 4 bonus options - 2 Wonderspins, 5 Wonderspins, Magic Dice and 2 Walterspins.

Spin A Win
Again, this is very similar to the other spin wheel games so far, however, there are no bonus options on this one, but you can bet on Odd, Even and Multiplier.
How to play
- Join the game and set your stake amount by picking one of the chips
- When the timer shows, place your desired stake on one of the 9 different betting options (1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 40 or Odd, Even or Multiplier)
- The host will now spin the wheel, if it lands on your number then you have won
- Continue to place your chips until you have completed the wagering requirement
Recommended Strategy and RTP
Odd, Even and Multiplier RTP
The highest RTP bet here is Odd, so this is what we would recommend you bet on. The payout on this is x 0.75, meaning a £1 stake you would return £1.75 if the wheel landed on an odd number.
Football Studio
In this game, there are 3 options to bet on, Home, Away and Draw.
You're betting on 2 cards, one represents the Home team, the other the Away team. You need to predict which will have the highest value card, Ace being the highest in this game.
The payout on Home or Away is 2x the value of your stake, just like betting on 2.0 on a sports event, meaning if you were to place a £1 bet, your return would be £2. If the cards are the same for Home and Away, then you receive 50% of your stake back.
If you were to bet on the Draw and the Home and Away cards were the same, then your bet would win. The winnings for the Draw are 12x your stake, meaning if you were to bet £1 on the Draw and win, your return would be £12.
How to play
- Join the game and set your stake amount by picking one of the chips
- When the timer shows, place your desired stake on one of the 3 different betting options (Home, Away or Draw)
- The host will now deal 2 cards, 1 for Home and 1 for Away.
- The bet with the highest value card assigned to it wins
- Continue to place your chips until you have completed the wagering requirement
Recommended Strategy and RTP
The highest RTP bet here is Home or Away, so this is what we would recommend you bet on.
Gonzo's Treasure Hunt
Gonzo's Treasure Hunt features a wall that has 70 tiles, you have to guess where the lost treasure is located, and if your guess is correct, you win.
How to play
- Join the game and set your stake amount
- When the timer shows, place your bet on one or more of the 6 different stones (1, 2, 4, 8, 20 or 65)
- Choose the number of picks you want to make to find your stones once the wall is hidden, you have the option of 1-20. Your total stake will be the number of picks multiplied by your placed bets on stones.
- You can now click on the wall, on any of the 70 tiles where you think the lost treasure may be.
- Some multipliers may be added to certain stones
- Each stone is revealed and has a value if you matched correctly then you will win
- Continue to place your bet until you have completed the wagering requirement
Recommended Strategy and RTP
All of the stones have similar RTP, however, betting on 1 and/or 2 is the lowest variance option.
We recommend using a low stake amount per bet and then opting for between 10 and 20 picks per round, this will give you a good chance at finding the treasure.
If you wanted to wager quite a lot on one game, you could bet 10p or 20p bet on both 1 and 2 and then choose 10-20 picks. This will spread your risk across lots of options and help you to complete the wagering in a timely manner.
Mega Ball
Mega Ball is a hybrid game, combining elements from different games to create this new game.
You have the option to buy between 1 - 400 cards, once purchased you'll see that 20 balls are picked from a lottery style machine. To win you must complete a line on your card(s) using the numbers that have been drawn. Once 20 balls have been drawn, there will then be one or two Mega Balls drawn, each time a Mega Ball is drawn the wheel will be spun in order to show a multiplier. If you have the Mega Ball number on your card(s), any wins will be multiplied by between x5 - x100.
How to play
- Join the game and set your bet per ticket amount
- When the timer shows click on the card options, if you click on a card more than once you will buy that number of cards, for example, clicking 1 card twice would mean you have 2 cards
- The numbers will be drawn using the machine and you'll see the numbers reflected on your card(s) if you have them
- At the end of the game, you'll be told how much you have won if you got a line and a Mega Ball multiplier too
- Continue to buy cards until you have completed the wagering requirement
Recommended Strategy and RTP
Playing 1 card has the highest RTP, however, it will be slow progress when wagering, and higher variance. For this reason, we would recommend buying multiple cards, it lowers the variance as you have more opportunities to win, and it makes completing the wagering faster.
Live Slot Games
There are a few live slots available to play on, they work in the same way as the standard online version, but they have a host for interaction.
There will be multiple players all playing at the same time, and whatever multiplier the win is, each player will win X amount based on their stake.
A couple of examples of live slots are Extra Chilli Epic Spins (96.74% RTP), Age of Gods - Gods of Storms Live (96.14% RTP) and Buffalo Blitz Live (95.96% RTP).
Please note, all RTPs were correct at the time that this guide was made, but they are subject to change, ensure you check before placing any bets.
